about

This song is about my trip to the Dominican Republic, which is where the picture from the front cover came from. That picture is the central north coast of the DR. We were staying in a town called Luperon and we had lots of jokes about “Luperon Nites” and what not. We had some adventures and this song is a humorous take on that.

lyrics

I was living on the beach in the Luperon,
trying to find new ways to get it on
So pop another pill and raise your glass,
hold onto tomorrow, today won't last

Luperon Nites, Luperon Nites...

(Oh this old thing, I found it up in the mangroves, like an old toy somebody just threw away, yeah, we made it into something, I dunno an old bike tire or milk jug or something, go on and send it, airmail.)
